John Parrott:
Now we understand what the "Performance Factor" is; could you give us an example how it works
in practice?
Gary Jay:
As previously stated, 75% off all winners will come from those horses who have achieved the required "Performance Factor" to win the required race. Therefore, the fewer horses rated, the greater the betting opportunity!

LOWE GO....+14 - WON 10/1
BARRACAT....+10

18 runners went to post in this Handicap Hurdle, but only three had achieved the required "Performance Factor". Barracat appeared better over fences, so this essentially became a two horse race between the joint top rated, Arctic Reason and Lowe Go.
THE RESULT................THE JOINT TOP RATED DOMINATE THE EVENT, SECURING A 10/1 WINNER FOR MEMBERS AND A 97/1 EXACTA FOR THOSE PLAYING THE TOP TWO!
5.00 SOUTHWELL - 18th July 2008
CEE CEE RIDER +13
LYSTER +13 - WON 7/1 (BACKED FROM AN EARLY MORNING PRICE OF 14/1!)
WHATDOIDOWITHTHAT +8
Two To Follow: CEE CEE RIDER, LYSTER - WON 7/1
One To Lay: NONE
16 went to post here, but only 3 had achieved the required Performance Factor. LYSTER had won over the trip at Hereford 9 months earlier off a mark of 85, and although his form had been in decline, we noted that this was his first run beyond three miles since and the first time he had run off an equivalent handicap mark. We made it clear that he appeared a rock solid investment.
THE RESULT...........LYSTER IS BACKED FROM 14/1 - 7/1 AND STORMS HOME BY 14 LENGTH!
The "Performance Factor" is only a starting point! Following the compilation of the figures, in-depth form assessement is undertaken to pinpoint which of the rated horses is likely to represent the best betting opportunity in the race. We then provide "Selective Investment Advice" consisting of 2/3 bets per day, each with a staking value ranging from 1-5 points. These races feature an in depth summary of all the rated horses. In addition, we provide "Two To Follow" and "One To Lay" for all rated races not featuring a "select advice", clearly indicating the horses we consider provide the best betting opportunity if you wanted to play in these.
