John Parrott MBE

We first met John Parrott one spring day at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC. Determined not to be late for our 1.30 pm appointment we arrived the customary 5 minutes early and were shown to a hospitality box, where we were faced by a quiet John Parrott reading his newspaper, with his long time manager Phil Miller calmly playing Mum with some tea and coffee. Immediately he rose and this affable gentleman completely made us feel at home. Thinking he would only have about 1 hour for us, we were more than pleasantly surprised that 5 hours later we were bidding our goodbyes on an agreed deal. We were amazed at his horse racing knowledge along with his total fascination for all things sporting. There was not a hint of "World Champion" in his demeanour and over recent weeks we have involved him and his team in other products within our group, and he has been as equally enthusiastic. We are pleased to count him as a company friend, and look forward to a very successful relationship.

Gary Jay

Gary Jay has always been an enthusiast of the Sport Of Kings and following a decision three years ago to join the ranks of those who generate a professional income from investing on horses, set about devising a unique ratings system that would pinpoint those horses capable of winning their respective races. Following months of analysis of past results, the "Performance Factor" was established, and initial trials produced superb and consistent results! Soon Gary was generating a considerable income from investing in horses and he soon built up a large group of supporters. He has quickly established himself as one of leading experts in his field and following a hugely successful trial period with us, we are delighted to welcome Gary onto the national stage as our chief contributor of Flat and National Hunt information.

John Welbeck

John Welbeck hails from the East Midlands and became a regular visitor to Southwell following the development of its All Weather track in 1989. A chance meeting at the course led to John joining Gary Jay as his statistical analysis in 2006, and he has helped Gary develop and maintain the ratings system that is now known as the "Betcast Performance Factor". As the system has progressed to include all Flat and National Hunt racing, John has taken charge of the All Weather area of the business, and we are delighted to welcome him to Betcast365 as our All Weather expert!

Maury McCarthy

There is nothing I can say about Maury that probably hasn?t been said before by his friends and family. He is young skilled energetic and pleaded for a chance, so we gave him his opportunity looking after our Summer Jumps campaign. We are totally in support of him and some of his finds are spectacular. Welcome Maury.

Mike Bass

Quite recently I was told that in reality the best handicapper of a horse should be his trainer in some cases that's true but in reality that simply doesn?t work out like that. However in this case... We have been able to attract the doyen of South African Trainers Mike Bass into our fold. For 30 years now Mike has assembled a level of expertise that he passed through his entire organization and family , not only in training winners but assessing progeny and timing their winning entrances to perfection. From his base in the Western Cape, Mike and his team will be evidencing daily of his marketplace that not even the English Racing Press can aspire to, with what we believe to be phenomenal success. It is with the greatest of pleasure we invite him onto our team.

NORMAN THE GREAT is undoubtedly, one of the most disappointing and frustrating novices in Alan King's high profile yard. He made a very encouraging hurdles debut last season when beaten 6 lengths by Nicky Henderson's Binocular. Considering that one's current position in the Champion Hurdle betting, it is clear to see why Norman The Great has far superior form to his rivals here. He failed to progress in three subsequent outings last season and quite frankly, his attitude to the game has to be questioned. However, he did turn in another top-class performance when reappearing at Acot two weeks ago, battling all the way to the line behind highly-rated Leo's Lucky Star. A reproduction of that form would make him a formality here and despite the question over his consistency, he is clear top-rated and must be backed!
